On May 10, 2019, xAssets, via its government partner McCauley Brown (an Alion company,) was awarded a contract to
implement it's IT Asset Management software solution for use at the United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE) Warrior Preparation Center (WPC) located at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany.
The xAssets ITAM-ND software was certified for use on both the USAF's Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet). The SIPRNet is one of the most secure networks in the world and is relied upon to transmit highly sensitive information among USAF data centers. Requirements for software certified for use on SIPRNet are stringent and exacting. xAssets is the only approved product on the Air Force EPL (Enterprise Products List) for solutions that address full lifecycle asset management for the IT environment along with any other assets needing to be managed, as well as the agentless discovery component to run over the network for ongoing discovery.
WPC provides combat readiness training for USAFE forces with advanced simulation software. It is critical that the WPC IT managers and officers have reliable, accurate and real-time inventory and configuration information on all of the components of their systems. xAssets ITAM-ND provides this information through agentless scans, configurable dashboards and on-demand reports. Users can create inquiries using any combination of discovered data points; arranging the information to highlight the specific information needed at that moment. The product is highly configurable to accommodate any technical requirements or processes needed by customers. The implementation commences June 2019.
