Images and Documents

Overview

All xAssets products provide a document area within the database for the storage and indexation of documents and images. Data in any table can be linked to one or more documents or images. Documents are indexed to make a searchable knowledge base and are stored uniquely to save space.

Typically an image may be linked to a number of similar assets, whereas a document describing a particular maintenance schedule might be linked to all assets which use that service plan.
